An interesting idea for a game.

While I appreciation the idea behind the game, I've sort of grown out of having the patience to really appreciate things that don't involve swords.

Regardless, I did enjoy it very much. Little big on the file-size, but I didn't get very far because of a few careless mistakes, and lacked the patience to play again. Adorable character and a very clever design, I commend you on your work.

Definitely an awesome game.

I feel robbed of a victory when they blow themselves up with grenades.
Another problem was, as you apologised for, the low AI. In the Junkyard, a computer would stand on the middle platform and shoot at my team standing below him. Or he would shoot at the barrier, unaware of its existence. Again, for no apparent reason (when one of my troops was about half a foot away from the enemy), it aimed at the ground and opened fire.
Also, throwing a grenade at the middle platform's two grey pillars just teleported the grenade up and over the baricade. This also meant if a computer was blown into the baricade, they'd re-appear on top of it.
Additionally, if you ran out of movement in mid-jump, you'd just stand there in the air.
One bug I encountered was that "Steve", who had died in the previous stage, was standing there with no health in the next stage.
Also (lots of bugs!), someone fell through a gap in the stage (again, Junkyard) and re-appeared on the side, as if they had fallen off the edge.
A grenade behind the troops on the right, pushed them right anyway.
The enemy's health bar flickered whenever they jumped into an object.

All these bugs made the game too easy. The Wasteland in particular was a major pushover- just wait for them to get on the rocks then kick them off. It kind of took the fun out of winning, even against the red-headed cowboy (lol!) himself.

Regardless, a thoroughly enjoyable game with a vast number of possible deaths due to the different terrains. I do wish that the rifle's range were longer though- I'd pick off enemies on the other side of the stage if I could. Complaints aside now, you had a sweet choice of music, and the costumes were pretty smiffy. I especially liked the ability to name your soldiers- I took with me my most loyal and battle-worthy friends, and we totally owned.

Overall, a very much enjoyable concept that had an element of addiction, as well as challenge. It would be pretty awesome to see better costumes, a few different weapons, and possibly a grenade limit in the future, but as a game in general? A very snug 9/10.

A marvellous game!

For a game of such limited animation, the cut scenes were done very artistically. I finally got around to passing Sleepless Knight 1, though again, I doubt the credibility of a female being a knight. The storyline, while original, leaves something to be desired. It's vague in the sense she didn't know she was a princess (obvious enough from the crowned costumes) and her rescuer went unnamed. However, a huge improvement from the first.

I still find the sound effects adorably naive. The cry CIYFOX makes with her fourth chained attack sounds a little forced, but it's really quite cute. Anyway, the greatest feature of this game (arguably) in comparison to the first, is that when you die, you don't lose all your money and armour. That saves a great deal of toil. What's better is you can re-collect all the coins again. I also like her new and improved jump and costume.

I still love that opening theme. I thought the name Newgroundia was positively adorable, too. Oo, it was a nasty ending though. I found it to be quite delectable as a game itself, and it's such a pity there won't be a third! Unless you scheme up another plot and launch our fair Princess into action once again. *nudge*

Very enjoyable, and took me some 20 minutes to pass. I don't regret it in the slightest. Excellent work!

PS: I'm very happy for you and your girlfriend! May good fortune lie in your path.

A very addictive game!

I found the sprites to be absolutely adorable. I like the new design of the characters, whoever came up with them. Bell is definitely my favourite, strongest or not, and I very much enjoyed playing. I can't say I really followed the story-mode all that well, but it was a wonderful experience. Really cute chibi-characters and everything! A wee bit on the small side though, but otherwise, neato!

I liked it how each character had unique movies, as different as they were. They did get a little bit repetative, but the various juggling combos you could attempt kept things interesting. It's been a long time since I've seen anything decent on Newgrounds related to the powerpuff girls. Magnificent work!

A really, really fantastic game!

Beyond the ordinary, this is perhaps one of the greatest games on Newgrounds at present! The style reminded me a little of Final Fantasy, but because I haven't played any of the Warcrafts, I don't really have any idea of the context in which the characters are drawn out of. I do, however, appreciate the level of detail.

The fights took a long, long while to get repetative, but it inevitably did. Murk's appearance never changed, and when you ran out of energy to stop casting spells or using skills, the back-handed slap just kind of got a bit stale after a few dozen tries.

The music was pretty funky, and the sound effects didn't get tiring, which I found surprising. The storyline and dialogue were admittedly a bit shifty, but that did not withstand in the face of the game's overall magnificence.

The only thing that really bothered me was the inability to cast more than 5 (at best) spells per match, without using any other items or restoring energy with Bloodrage. Bloodrage is a major rip-off, too.

Overall, a very lengthy game that was totally worth playing and very much enjoyable throughout. Though the enemies were slightly too easy to be a challenge, save the final mage, it was a delectable play.

To those gamers out there, don't forget to load your finished game at the end to try the Darkmoon challenge!

Very well made! A true pleasure.

Bloodrage goes well with healing spells. Basically it's infinite energy! Thanks for the comments :)

Wow!

Gotta love those pants.

A very simple but well-made game. Plenty to do, though it did get slightly repetative after a while, but highly enjoyable nevertheless. Cute character design, although there was little more to the graphics than that!

Excellent sense of momentum there, albeit slightly unrealistic, but hey. It's awesome being able to run upside-down. A very slick game! Love the hair.

Hm... Not bad, but not great either.

I found the intro to be a little more distracting and potentially seizure-inducing than an effective narrative technique. Things flickered a little too quickly by for me to really identify what was in the picture.

The dialogue, while captivating, could have used a tiny bit of a touch up. The voice acting was perfectly in character, but a little bit intimidating. Also, make sure not to put "ehahahaha" for an evil laugh- using onomatopoeia for a laugh just doesn't really work.

Unfortunately, it was taking far too long to really get anywhere in the story mode. I had maxed out my strength by the time I went more than four spaces to the right, and I was still having my ass beat around by those skeletons. I realised after a while that the only way to do anything about it was to level up your character's special moves, but it would take too long. Standing in the same spot, turning around once in a while to forever slay an incessant stream of zombies, wasps and spiders things. I didn't have the patience to play it out.

With the arcade mode, was there any particular reason why the characters were flashing? And when Violet stands behind a shielding computer, and lets out some fireballs, they just stand there and take it until Violet runs out of shield (very, very slowly) or they die. That kind of took the fun out of the game.

This had an enormous amount of potential, but it was something of a let down because of the slow rate and lack of interactivity. It was basically stand there and hold down the attack button until the enemy died. I still love the setting of the game though, and the music pretty cool, so you get a fair ranking. However, make sure to keep future games a little more action-packed, or at the very least more than standing there with the attack button held down.

Godlimations responds:

Yo i'm really sorry about that into and the other problems, it is NOT supposed to look or be like that, please come back in a few days to see the correct version, what has happened is i have accidentally uploaded an update of the game to newgrounds, not realising that it had exported wrong, leading to bugs like u described!
anyone else who reads this please keep this in consideration when playing!

A fun game, without doubt, but...

After three games it began to lag too much to be fair. It took about 3 seconds for the bullet to shoot, and I couldn't find a way of reducing the quality of the graphics to make things smoother. Thoroughly enjoyable, with the perfect difficulty setting for the computers to make them challenging but not impossibly so. A decent idea for a game, and well executed, indubitably, but the lag just bothered me too much. I also ended up killing my partner because I was fed up with him running into walls and staying there. It also took me a very long time to discover who was my partner and who was my enemy- perhaps if you could highlight that a little more...

Nevertheless, an enjoyable game, and well made indeed.

Quite an enjoyable game!

Albeit, I must confess there wasn't a great deal to it. I found the engine familiar and thus, and enjoyable experience for me, but I really missed that wicked backflip from pressing down and A. The lack of sword-play made me resort to buying some big bad weapons. Though I've not sampled all of them, (just most of them,) my favourite is the Shrikator. Definite massacre guaranteed, plenty of amunition, does not send enemies rocketing up into the air without shredding them on the way and overall one of if not the best weapon, in two-shot kills. The stronger weapons were something of a disappointment though, I must say.

Nevertheless, awesome character design. Not much of a story, unlike Fear Unlimited, but a pretty awesome play all the same. Nice music, though I had to turn the speakers up a little, but it does get repetative after a while. Nevertheless, I enjoyed it for about a half hour, but because there were only so many different weapons, and only three types of enemies, it kind of gets pointless when you have a bajillion bullets.

Anyhoo, a well-made game that I found thoroughly entertaining. At least, for the half hour.

Nifty!

I found the intro a little disturbing. There are some people out there like that, you know. A little unnerving, but an otherwise enjoyable game. Also, try subtitles. Doesn't hurt to check your spelling, either.

Not sure if you're the same author, but this is very much like another game I enjoyed. Both the same basic sniper concept, and both loads of fun! I lacked the patience to pass the final stage though, but otherwise, nice work.
