Lol.

A cute chick voice. That always gets your attention from the go, doesn't it?

A creative game, that took an AGE to pass. There were, indeed, a variety of enemies, but once I discovered you could swallow their bullets (yes, I know I didn't read the tutorial properly) it became all too easy to pass. Just charge up the massive laser and wipe any virus too large to consume. Perhaps if you didn't get quite as much energy from the bullets it would at least help a little. Being able to swallow the enemy projectiles kind of neutralised the idea of having a weapon at all.

This reminded me somewhat, of a game called Bloodbug, though inverted. Not to advertise or anything, but anyone looking for a nifty little game should search for it on Newgrounds.

Anyways, for such a lengthy game, and admittedly, a very repetative one, I have to say that the ending was something of a let down. Maybe you could add different weapons or different types of anti-viruses as a bonus or something of the sort. Just to keep it interesting, you know?

Anyways, marvellously done, with classic gaming music. A nice 9/10.

Hey, neat ideas!

I was a pretty big fan of your first one, but this was an improvement on so many different levels.

A little bit slow in some parts, but pretty intense in others. It did take a certain level of knowledge of units to be able to pull off the victory in the missions, which was far better than the original hack-and-slash, just kill everything that moves strategy that was required for the first one.

Though the graphics were a little dodgy, they could be overlooked as the gameplay compensated. All it really takes to pass the game is patience. You just need to wait for your money to rise so you can buy better units and build greater buildings. That kinda brought it down a little- maybe killing other units gives you bonus gold? Another way of making money, somehow, would be much appreciated for the third game. Because the only way to make money was to wait, patiently, it was all too easy to play another game for a few minutes and come back to check on this one, make a few upgrades, buy a few soldiers, then pass the level. Time rather than timing, and whatnot. That's the main flaw.

Otherwise I find it to be a charming game. Didn't take a great deal of skill to pass, but it was somewhat challenging if you didn't strategise, at least a little.

It did, however, lag so much on the 7th level that I couldn't perform any action. It was on low quality and everything, so I had to relenquish playing after that, but I did enjoy what I *did* manage to play. Nice work!

An excellent game!

It took me a little while to realise the upgrades were stacked, and it was a really fun game once you got the hang of it. Addictive, because of the various upgrades you could earn, and a perfect level of skill required- not overly difficult, but enough to be challenging. Smooth side-scrolling shooter- really sweet work with that much, and overall, a very smiffy outcome!

This could be (or probably is) an arcade game, no sweat.

Being a massive Zelda fan, I loved it!

Valentine's Day. It's a sweet notion, isn't it? Rather pointless though. It just gives jewelers an excuse to double the price of everything and charge $5 for a rose.

Anyways, marvelous game! Classic Zelda Graphics, though Lon Lon Ranch's theme *was* from Ocarina of Time. It's on my playlist, along with every other Zelda song :P
No real complaints, except "library" only has on i, and you sort of killed the conversation between Zelda by ignoring grammar. However, that doesn't mean you had bad dialogue- far from it! Hilarious. "GET MY FLOWERS!" Lol women. They're all the same, aren't they?

Now, to the rest of you looking for a walkthrough.
1. Go see Zelda.
2. Go west of the castle and grab a hatchet.
3. Look around for a park somewhere with a *purple* (not pink :P) tree in the middle.
4. Return and get your shovel.
5. Go grab a bottle from the gentleman who sells pots and jars.
6. Fill it with water in a fountain, south-east.
7. Go way westward and find the farm. Get some dirt.
8. Head to the florist- right next to your house.
9. Go back to south of the castle and grab some blue leaves. (I only get that now - brown earth and blue nature! I thought she meant water...)
10. Head back to the florist.
11. Get your smooch from Zelda.

A little bit disappointed with the ending, but overall very snazzy. I appreciate the lack of violence for once. Long live Shigeru Miyamoto.

Hey, sweet game!

Reading back, you've received a fair few negative reviews, but my advice to you is to ignore them. This sort of game isn't to their taste, but I enjoyed it thoroughly! I kept thinking back to it when I had to stop playing halfway to go fishing with my family, and it's bloody addictive. The concept itself is neat, though a cutscene for learning the different spells would have made the idea complete, and I just felt it really cool to run flat out and cast spells at anything that stood in your way. Awesome!

Also, I really, really loved that music! Revved up, it kinda made you feel invincible. Great idea for the boss, and overall not a lot to say except it was a wee bit too fast. As in, the screen blurred a little, which can't be good for your eyes. Nonetheless, very well done!

Excellent game!

Hm. Suspiciously like Age of Empires =D The intro seemed familiar, also. Until that last part which I found positively hilarious.

Music needed, though the intensity of the game made the player ignore the descripancy.

The game itself was enormously difficult, unless from the go you strategised to defend key locations and organised a decent defence. Of course, this means that anyone playing for the first time would find it somewhat challenging. This includes myself.

I know that if I had the time to play, I'd be able to pass it, but for the meanwhile I'm afraid to say this, while it was a magnificent game, it's just not something I can pass without spending a good long while conquering and reconquering. Perhaps another time, eh?

Marvellously well executed. Brilliant idea.

Hm...

Doesn't really make sense how YOU lose health when one gets through.

I appreciated the choice of music, though it did get repetative after a while, even with the variety of three songs.

"Phuket" rofl! The way she pronounced that made me burst out laughing. Hm.

The only real problem I have with the game itself is the grammar and dialect- that could be improved substantially. Consider that a compliment to the game itself. I thought it would have been a much better idea to, oh I don't know, bomb the powernodes, but hey. You got to get into a mech suit and take on a city- how awesome is that?

Otherwise, the game held a definite element of addiction. Decent graphics, and an overall interesting set-up and idea. Nice voice acting, and a reasonably easy game to play. Sometimes it was really slow, sometimes it was heart-rivetting. Enjoyable on both levels. The whole thing reminded me somewhat of the Warcraft games on Newgrounds, but regardless, it was well met. An excellent play that took me quite some time to pass for the lengthy missions! Excellent work.

Brilliant idea.

Can't say there's much for story- why killer snowmen and little kids with beanies are after you in your snowfort or anything. Regardless, it was a most delectable game, though the cost for health was far too expensive. Most definitely enjoyable, and with elements of fun, but if you didn't allocate your money effectively the first time round, you would reach a stage just a little too hard for you, and you'd get piled on. Unfortunately, because of that difficulty level, I didn't feel up for playing a second time, but I definitely enjoyed it the first.

Weapon upgrade and improved fire speed don't seem to do a lot, do they? The mines were probably the best deal of the shop, but nice work overall! Charming graphics.

OrangeFoxGames responds:

Thanks for the good review! I'm really glad you liked the game.

Just incase you don't know, the weapon upgrade makes your snowballs larger, and move faster. The fire rate upgrade allows you to fire snowballs at a more rapid pace. They don't make an amazing visible difference, but you need them to survive.

Being that you liked the game, it would be awesome if you could vote for it in the March voting, the voting that is taking place right now.

Thanks,
~David

Neato.

Creative preloader. I also enjoyed the tutorial, somewhat. Plain but effective graphics with the illustrations, too. Massive range of weapons and all. Creative scenarios, though lacking a storyline, that took quite some finesse to conquer. I think it would have been a better idea to unlock the harder stages as you progressed though- just for that feeling of accomplishment.

So many types of missions, so many challenges and goals. Whilst this kept me occupied for some hour and a half, it became really too difficult without any real reward other than satisfaction from being able to pass a level. I soon gave up, but it was a pretty smiffy game indeed! Music was needed, however. Excellent work.

An entertaining play.

Enjoyable to say the least, though the "Try again" button didn't work, which is probably what bothered me most. Also, some combination of the mini-gun sound effects (with the war dogs) seemed to cancel sound effects entirely.

I enjoyed the play very much- it distracted me somewhat from an issue of my own extreme stupidity, and for that much I'm grateful. I'm about to play the other Alloy game. It kind of sucked how the freeze-gun backfired on the dogs with extendable heads- you would have to get in close and punch them. No mean feat. Because the retry button didn't work, I found it easier to stop playing entirely after a while.

Anyways, nice work. Nifty little character that has enormous potential in various scenarios. Hope to see you alive again soon.
