Ah zombies, the new vampires.

A great game! Highly addictive because you only had to survive for a minute and a half or so so the days went by quickly. The character was gorgeous, something about her eyeliner and ponytail, and her voice and reloads were just awesome. The mercenaries were cool, but generally useless and died easily. Hugely expensive to hire, if one dies you have to pay their fee again. Probably the greatest setback in the game.

A fantastic addition (whether intentional or not) that made the game easier to play over an extended period of time was saving money! Whenever you died you kept whatever money you earned in the round, allowing you, after many, many deaths, to buy that sweet ass gun to fill your enemies with leaden wrath. The physics for picking up and moving barricades was also quite innovative and possibly a game all of its own.

There were a few bugs I'd like to mention- the barricades wouldn't set up sometimes, or they'd vanish as soon as the round started. Pressing E didn't do anything to fix the cracks, either. The zombies would attack the barricades, even if they got to the other side (via a dynamite-powered jump). One of the axe zombies just started throwing axes at me even though I was a floor above and I couldn't reach him at the end because the barricades walled me in.

It was indeed very satisfying for a zombie game. I'm surprised you didn't place more emphasis on shotguns, although the katana was very welcome. Traditional chainsaws and headshots good to see as well.

The zombies themselves weren't all that fantastic. Not that zombies are realistic, but their different uniforms and sizes hardly gave them variety. It did get very monotone after a while.

Ability to upgrade individual weapons or the character would have been muchly appreciated. Rather than buying stronger weapons, increasing the firepower of smaller ones would have been cool.

As for the ending... Spoiler alert, so divert your eyes if you haven't passed it yourself.

I played this game for nearly two hours. TWO HOURS, and the ending is both abrupt and anticlimactic. There's no real build up aside from the increasing number of zombies. I ended up with large amounts of money and nothing to spend it on. And after all her struggles and trials, the harbour's already destroyed. Hardly satisfactory, and certainly very frustrating.

All up a good zombie tribute! Generic? Certainly. Frustrating? Somewhat. Repetetive? To an extent. Fun...? Most definitely. While this game takes a long time to pass and has fundamental weaknesses which make it either ridiculously easy or ridiculously hard (usually the latter), it's certainly an enjoyable way to pass some time.

An excellent game.

Unlike most defense games, this one doesn't get old. The main reason for that is the occassional comment by Mr. Frost. "Eat my bullets!" "I love my job!" They seriously add just enough humour and variety to standard game play to make every level enjoyable.

Great job with the walkthrough. Most walkthroughs for defence games are useless, but this one was actually very thorough/well organised with some genuine tips.

Great selection of weapon, fantastic limit on the money makes some difficult purchasing choices. Nice. Very satisfying to reap hell through bunny ranks, excellent use of humour, interesting but charming style of animation... All in all a pretty darn fantastic defence game.

Great game!

Really enjoyable, simple but with a nice variety of weapons and the simple challenge of staying alive!

My main problem with this game was that the better guns took up way too much ammunition. Rocket launchers and chainsaws went through hundreds of bullets in seconds, leaving me with a pistol to get myself out of pretty big ditches. My suggestion is not to limit ammunition purchases to 500 but to allow mass purchasing- it would balance out the money made from the absolutely killer weapons. I did find it somewhat annoying that 15 minutes of gameplay building up a collection of maxed out weapons didn't bring any real benefit once ammo supply ran out and I was swarmed with Big Ted's.

Otherwise an excellent game, very enjoyable. I got to level 21, leaving all but one enemy undiscovered. I'm tempted to find out what sort of boss you designed.... but it's just not worth the effort considering how easy it is to die.

Fun!

Wish there was a difficulty setting though. Really enjoyable way to pass time. Excellent variety of weapons, but perhaps just a little too challenging with such a small ammunition limit and very little manouverability. Thing Thing 3 is more my type, but nicely constructed with a very nice storyline.

Actually quite enjoyable

The Thing Thing series has always been awesome but it's taken me a while to try out this installment. Simple and without much of a plot, but a healthy variety of weapons and effects, a good range of customisable features for a unique character, just lacked music really. Trademark awesome movement and dodging abilities, really cool how the highscore board is updated everyday and more and more enemies appear depending on the number of kills you get.

Does get repetetive rather quickly. I advise larger stages to allow freer movement and a change in scenery.

Quite an enjoyable way to pass the time.

Nice.

An entertaining concept. Fairly standard side-scrolling shooter but with one ultra-badass boss with a plentiful variety of attacks. Didn't get dull but wasn't hugely challenging either (at least not on medium difficulty). Simple, transparent and entertaining. An excellent and somewhat facetious way to pass the time.

Insanely good.

Man, this brought back so many memories... I was delighted to find I still remembered the cheats for Godmode and all weapons/ammo, which my friend told me in primary school 8 years ago.
Godmode- IDDQD
All weapons/ammo- IDKFA

I'm really glad to see they worked, too!
This really does take you back. Thank you so much for reviving one of the greatest retro FPS' ever made!

Cool game, but...

It's a little too time consuming for me to play at the moment. That's probably a compliment, given the vast and unbelievable amount of stuff the game holds and how addictive it could be if given enough time. It looks quite remarkable, and I have to say, pretty much top marks for sound, graphics, design and gameplay and all that jazz. Could be pretty darn epic if I had a little more time.

Nice!

Amazing intro. Top quality graphics, well done with the portrayal of all the action of a horror survival film.

An entertaining game with an interesting element. The idea of maps for searching and booby traps was much more entertaining and captivating. The only thing lacking (possibly) was a movie or minigame to actually search the place.

A nice variety of weapons and zombies- wonderful to see different effects of different enemies. The shotgun was a tad annoying, but that's probably the skill of the game, knowing how to use it. Not that zombie repulsion is normally very easy. I'm also glad the game doesn't end when the barricade collapses if you still have a chance to fight until daylight.

I didn't really figure out how to use the booby traps other than the canisters, so maybe a tutorial for that would come in handy. Otherwise, a pretty darn decent game! Well done sir.

Fun!

As simplistic is it is, it could very well be played for hours. Entertaining variety of stages, starts fairly slow but builds up nicely. Not much more to say.
