Rofl!

I was expecting this to be a huge Zelda-slagging but I actually found the humour in good taste! You did kinda get the nack of the game in a few short minutes. I'm an enormous Zelda fan and can appreciate your work. Your voice sounds fine, don't sweat it. Funny stuff! Great movie; wonderful idea nutshells are.

Cheerios4u98 responds:

thanks! I wasn't happy with my voice because I had to stream it so it would saty in sync with the movie, which made it sound slurred. I'm glad you liked it though!

Lol, what the?

I dunno. Some of that was funny, but a lot of it was a little random and all if it was senseless. Not really what I was expecting in terms of a 6MB movie... Voices were pretty well done (although speech bubbles are funny in their own way, so they were used effectively too), but the humour's not really my style. Funny, absurd, a little bit perverse, but overall a cute little movie =)

PS: Your work with the pictures and not just the sprites is commended.

Oww... I really care do the people laught. You need to review the things you want, not the things you dosnt like :(

Masterfully done.

Agility and speed has *always* had the advantage over brute strength and sheer force. The tactile enemy is one whom is untouchable. This reminded me somewhat of System Interrupted.

Very clever use of camera angles and different filming techniques. Your animations have come so far since I first became a fan of yours. I didn't really like his elongated chin, but I felt the idea (cliché as it's acclaimed to be) is an awesome one. Who doesn't dream of being fast enough to dodge bullets and skilled enough to conquer gun with blade?

Truly a well mastered flash. Awesome sound track, and untiring ways of using a katana (they seem to be coming back into fashion, don't they?) to kill someone. I also noticed he was left-handed- good show.

I remember some of your reviews on my earlier works... thanks for stopping by once again.

Heh...

I guess I don't share your sense of humour, but I didn't find this insanely hilarious.

JohnnyUtah responds:

i think there's a slight conflict in your statement buddy

Hm...

I can't help but feel the movie was made for the song, not vice versa. It seemed more like an adaptation to an incredible sound track rather than a movie with wicked music. Not much of a story as far as this goes, but definitely well made in terms of atmosphere. What an incredible little girl. Very well animated, with a vibe-worthy ending.

Just one thing though. In the narrative, you spelt it Byrnes, but on the gravestone it was Birnes.

Davo-one responds:

As you say, there's not much story, its made for uncovering secrets, but they are discovered with metaphors and symbolisms, what an incredible family I may say.
I got stuck on the ending a lot of time trying to connect the story with the original.

Byrnes! =S XD Bad mistake.

Lol!

Neat little movie. I think it's a little overrated though- it's nothing entirely special. It's got some really good gags though, but overall, all I can say is that this is the 2D version of the Red vs Blue series.
(search "Red vs Blue Episode 1" on video.google, if you like. It's worth watching, seriously.)

Cute jokes and puns, and nifty phrases, but it wasn't really Top 50 material.

JohnnyUtah responds:

after season one, it really isnt worth watching. seriously.

Hm.

Needs a play button. Just doesn't compare to the original, but a very admirable fan-attribute.

I agree when people say the sound gets annoying- that's fair enough. This wasn't quite as smooth as the work of Krinkle, but pretty neat in its own regards. If this were original, it would be hailed, but as a sort of tribute, it's well done =) Why would you only have three bullets in a gun though? Kinda heartless, too.

~VelvetDarkRocks~

Shrinkz responds:

you know, i've been asked the 'amount of bullets' question before, and now that I look back on this animation...I just don't know! :) But thanks for the compliments!

And madness IS supposed to be heartless!

Lol!

Aww how cute! Strange but entertaining. And I doubt anyone actually pays for their Macromedia Flash legally. Adorable theme song (if you can call it that). Cute graphics, and awesome story! Poor ninja!

Wonchop responds:

lol

Hm.

I just thought I'd let you know that I randomly clicked a site- Shida's home page, and it didn't work =p

Not much of a collaboration, truth be told! Short clips from a whole heap of different artists. Neat, but not quite a movie as much as a random collection of submissions to music. Cool nonetheless, though! All it really needs is a pause button.

Ambex's was the smoothest, as far as animation is involved in my opinion. JVT was up there too. Definitely some of the coolest, smoothest clips that have been on newground. Richie's clip, however, was the most undoubtably the greatest. No question.

Overall, not a lot to say. Some people seemed to get more time than others (isn't that a wee bit biased? :P) but they were all cool, funny or neat in their own styles. You've done well to organise something this big. Cheers!

Wonchop responds:

well, parts were more handed out in terms of experience

Lol!

You know what was so funny? I read this joke in a church bulletin a few days before it came out on newgrounds. They probably got it from you! Ha! Nice one. I like the animation, too! Cool guy with the glasses.

Godlimations responds:

is that so? that's very interesting... glad to hear the news spread :)
